Analysis of modern methods and methodologies for assessing the effectiveness of state support for small businesses

The article presents the results of the analysis of existing methods and methodologies for assessing the effectiveness of state support for small business at the regional level based on materials from the Ulyanovsk and Samara regions. According to the results of the analysis of the ratio of methods and methodologies for assessing the effectiveness of state support for small business and the real state of small business development in the Ulyanovsk and Samara regions, the absence of a comprehensive system of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of state support for regional small business was revealed.
