The passenger transport in Russia problems and prospects of development

The article is devoted to the trends in the development of passenger transport in Russia. The data analysis makes it possible to observe the steady decrease in the volume of passenger traffic. The article summarizes the features of passenger transport, as well as highlights some basic approaches to improving the quality of passenger service. These directions of development will contribute to the establishment of active interest in passenger services, which in turn will provide non-transport effects that affect the socio-economic life of society.
