The article is devoted to the analysis of the organization of supervisory activities of the prosecutor's office in the process of implementing legislation on citizens' appeals to state bodies and local self-government bodies. The author conducts a study of problematic aspects that arise when supervising the implementation of legislation on the procedure for considering appeals. It is noted that the most common problems are related to the lack of clear regulation of the process of filing and consideration of appeals, which leads to difficulties in realizing the right of citizens to appeal. Based on the results of the analysis of the current legislation, research base, materials of prosecutorial practice, the author proposes provisions of a recommendatory nature to identify violations of laws and measures to respond to them, formulated proposals for improving the human rights function of the prosecutor's office in this area of activity.
