Infrastructural connectivity of Russian regions: assessment and problems

The article is devoted to the analysis and assessment of the infrastructure connectivity of the regions of the Russian Federation. As part of the expansion of the network of economic interaction between regions and the development of the country's economic space, the issues of assessing and increasing the level of interregional connectivity are of fundamental importance. In the process of preparing the article, the authors used methods for analyzing statistical data characterizing the connectivity of subjects of the Russian Federation. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were made and substantiated about the presence in the spatial structure of the Russian Federation of regions-«nodes» that attract all the surrounding traffic flows to themselves.
