Social quality of life as part of the assessment of socio-economic development of the territory

Social quality of life is a unique concept of modern science, which allows not only to reflect the real picture of human and social life, but also to indicate the directions of further development and modernization of existing and emerging policies, strategies, management programs at all levels of government. Moreover, the development of a particular territory forms its own indicator of the social quality of life. In this paper, some indicators of the level of socio-economic development of the territory are considered on the example of the Kursk region. The assessment of the level of socio-economic development of the Kursk region was carried out on the basis of data from the Territorial Body of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Kursk Region, the Committee on Economy and Development of the Kursk Region, the Committee of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Kursk region and the Administration of the Kursk region in the period from 2019-2020.
