Modern technologies in predicting criminal activity

The article discusses the general characteristics of murder, the main methods of preventing violent crime, as well as the technological foundations and possibilities of using artificial intelligence systems in law enforcement. The methods and essence of artificial intelligence are described. The authors believe that the low effectiveness of the prevention of criminal behavior is largely due to ignoring the need for quantitative analysis of the current state of crime. Currently, there is a real need to modernize criminological research, it is necessary to develop and implement mathematical models for making preventive criminal and political decisions. Criminal law and criminology should be developed through their filling with new branches due to scientific and technological progress. A special role should belong to the criminal law direction of high technologies. When writing the article, general scientific methods of cognition were used, as well as special ones: statistical, system-structural, comparative-legal.
