On the question of legal regulation of gene-engineering activities

This article attempts to present the legal regulation of genetic engineering activities. Genetics is the science that deals with the study of genes, genetic variation and heredity in organisms. Improvements in genetic engineering have opened up new opportunities to save lives and create new treatment options for diseases that cannot be cured by known classical methods. However, at the moment in this area there are problems of legal regulation and this is due to the fact that legal systems do not keep pace with the revolution in genetic engineering, and lawyers and scientists often do not understand the existing rules.
