Legal mechanism for regulation of the powers of the customs authorities of Russia in the field of criminal proceedings

The article, taking into account the realities of the modern foreign policy situation, examines the current norms of international, federal and specialized legislation of the customs authorities of the Russian state, regulating their powers in the field of criminal prosecution for violation of customs rules. The authors focus on the importance of the actions of customs officials to optimize the suppression of illegal actions in the field of customs, providing for criminal liability under Russian law and the contribution of customs authorities to ensuring compliance with the economic security of the Russian state.
