The article considers the peculiarities of modeling the processes of achieving high results of food industry enterprises in Russia. The factors restraining the progress in the sphere of food production and output are highlighted. The criteria for selecting models of innovative development of food enterprises are outlined. The system model of diffusion and diffusion of innovations between participants of one production chain has been developed.
