Countering juvenile delinquency

The current reality of the Russian Federation is characterized by high attention to the state of work on combating juvenile delinquency, the level of which at various stages of the development of the state was at a fairly high level. The Russian Federation is currently actively applying foreign experience in combating this type of crime, which has significantly reduced the percentage of crimes committed among minors compared to other types of illegal acts. At the same time, the problem of the need to develop new means and methods of combating this type of crime has not completely disappeared. The current time is characterized by an increase in the commission of more serious crimes by adolescents, to which the state authorities must respond adequately. Thus, the continued attention on the part of the state to this problem, the development of new and refinement of old methods of countering crimes among minors can ultimately reduce the percentage of the total number of crimes committed to a minimum.
