Real and declared justifications for the transformations of the institute of Russian cassation

In this article we are talking about the conditionality of the third reform of the institute of domestic criminal cassation, about what justified its establishment and subsequent reform, including current processes. The accents of modern specialized literature on their inconsistency, understood most often situationally, outside the context of the general genesis of the domestic cassation, are critically examined. The historical and modern contradictions between the real needs of reforming (improving) the domestic criminal cassation and the declared goals, as well as the rationale for these transformations, are revealed.
