Analysis of genetic information as a basis for effective investigation and disclosure of crimes

this article highlights the analysis of statistical data on the positive dynamics of genomic research on the example of the ECC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory with illustrative examples from practice; the dominant role of DNA research in the investigation and disclosure of crimes against the life and health of a person, her sexual integrity, various emergency situations is highlighted; the dynamics of growth in the work of the genomic database is given. information carried out within the framework of Article 7 of Federal Law No. 242-FZ dated 03.12.2008 "On State genomic registration in the Russian Federation"; along with general tasks, emphasis is placed on the preventive role of genomic registration.
