The article discusses the current aspects of the development of the law-making activity of the state to resolve issues related to the use of artificial intelligence technologies. The rudimentary nature of the regulatory framework regulating this area is noted, which clearly does not correspond to the modern needs of technological development. As a promising direction for the development of legal regulation of artificial intelligence, it is proposed to borrow positive foreign experience in the development and implementation of roadmaps regulating the details of the application of AI and robotics.
