Improving the organization of work with citizens'appeals in the executive authorities of the Kursk region

The article discusses the organization of work with citizens' appeals in the executive authorities on the example of the Administration of the Kursk region. One of the urgent problems of the 21st century is the process of alienation of power from society. Among the most important ways of communication, which allow minimizing the closeness of power and expanding the possibilities of influence and management of state affairs, are precisely the appeals of citizens. The right to apply to authorities is the most important right enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which allows citizens of the Russian Federation to participate in government, and also ensures the implementation of the most important constitutional principle – democracy. Citizens' appeals are necessary to strengthen the ties between the state apparatus and the population and to resolve issues related to the public life of the Kursk region. The result of the work was the development of recommendations for improving the work with citizens' appeals. The main conclusion of the study is that work with citizens' appeals should be of high quality and effective. The study of the organization of work with citizens' appeals in government bodies is important, since citizens' appeals serve as a source of information about the problems of citizens and the situation on the ground. This information contributes to the adoption of timely measures to eliminate and prevent identified problems in the future.
