The article is devoted to the first soviet decrees and other normative legal acts affecting the legal regulation of labor. Since its formation, the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party has set the main task of improving the working conditions of the proletariat and creating a fair socio-economic system, which corresponded to the political requirements of that time. Having come to power as a result of the October Revolution, the leaders of the young state understood that without the regulation of the labor sphere, the existence of a socialist state implying social justice and equality is impossible. To achieve these goals, the Soviet government issued a number of decrees regulating labor relations. The formation and development of Soviet labor law made it possible to demonstrate the advantage of the socialist path both to the proletariat in all countries and to the world community as a whole. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the paper attempts to study the vector of labor law transformations after the October Revolution.
