CRIMINAL SUICIDE IN MATTERS OF QUALIFICATION OF CRIMES UNDER ARTICLES 205 AND 205.1 OF THE CRIMINAL CODE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The phenomenon of suicide terrorism, its genesis, topical aspects of international experience of struggle, the profile features and problems of motivation of a suicide bomber, indicators and signs of a potential terrorist attack are considered. The author's vision of countering the commission of crimes by suicide bombers by special services and law enforcement agencies is revealed. The subject of the study is: the current state and trends in the development of such a phenomenon as suicide suicide bombers, its legal regulation, features of the investigation and prevention of this type of crime, the world experience in combating this phenomenon. The purpose of the study is to obtain new information about the concept of criminal suicide, its legal nature, current state, trends, as well as to develop recommendations for the prevention of crimes related to acts of suicide. The methodological basis of the research consists of methods of analysis, analogy, logical deduction and induction, a systematic approach, a structural and functional method, historical-legal, comparative-legal, formal-legal, statistical, survey method, etc. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the article examines the criminal-legal and criminological problems of preventing criminal suicide, taking into account current trends and on the basis of existing experience in combating this phenomenon.
