The article is devoted to the peculiarities search activity of the investigator in the investigation of crimes in the field of computer information. An attempt has been made to determine the criminalistic essence and highlight the informational significance of the search process investigator, as well as to develop an algorithm for tactical operations in the investigation of crimes in the field of computer information.
