IMPACT OF FATCA ON THE JURISDICTION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN THE AGE OF SANCTIONS

The article considers the US FATCA Law. The purpose of this study is to analyze the FATCA implementation mechanism aimed at combating cross-border tax evasion by US residents, as well as its impact on the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation in the era of sanctions. The methodological basis of the study was dialectical, formal-legal, logical methods. The study showed that despite the sanctions pressure, financial market organizations continue to comply with FATCA by submitting reports on US residents to the US Internal Revenue Service.
