LEGAL STATUS OF CORPORATIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF LEGAL ENTITIES OF RUSSIA

The lack of legislative consolidation of the term "corporation" gives rise to many legal issues. The current practice in Russia leads to the synonymization of corporations with business entities, which does not seem quite right. Embedding the word "corporation" in the name of legal entities also leads to some confusion. Borrowing Western practices in corporate regulation does not always have a positive effect on Russian economic and legal realities.
