This article examines the history of the formation and development of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Changing the structure and formation of the Supreme Court powers at all historical stages of the development of the state. The participation of the Supreme Court in the development of legislation on judicial power in modern Russia is also considered. Some conclusions and suggestions have been made.
