The global sphere of tourist and recreational services is rapidly recovering against the background of deferred demand associated with epidemiological restrictions. The article presents the identified trends inherent in modern forms of organization of the tourism industry. The results of the study are based on the analysis of statistical data, expert opinions, global development trends, UNWTO regulatory documents, measures of state support for the tourism industry in various countries. The relevance of this article is due to the need to rethink the tourism sector in the era of its transition from an epidemiological crisis to transformation
