The article deals with the peculiarities of the introduction of international standards for regulating financial services markets. Particular attention is paid to the prerequisites and reasons for the development of standards. The conditions and factors that contribute to the implementation of standards at the national level are also outlined, the effects of their implementation are highlighted. In addition, the practical aspects of standards application in the practice of the country's financial services market participants are described in detail.
