STRATEGIC GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL TOURISM

The article presents the results related to the formation of strategic guidelines for the development of rural tourism. It is established that the development of a strategy for the development of rural tourism in the Russian Federation is a priority of state regulation for rural areas. It is proved that the current strategy for the development of rural tourism should have a medium-term character, and the implementation of its provisions should be strengthened by the priorities of other existing strategic standards. Given that the regions of the Russian Federation differ greatly in their natural and historical-cultural potential, ethno-cultural characteristics, the priorities of rural tourism development require regionalization and localization.
