In the context of a changing geopolitical situation, including the strengthening of economic and political sanctions against Russia, the trend towards a reduction in the nuclear programs of a number of countries and the increased interest of a number of countries of the world community in alternative energy, the innovative component in the development of the Russian nuclear industry is becoming especially important to increase its competitiveness in the international market . The article describes approaches to building a model of the impact of unique innovative and technological competencies (hereinafter referred to as UITC) on ensuring the sustainable development of the nuclear power industry complex (hereinafter referred to as AEPC).
