INTEREST OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN PROTECTION AND RESTORATION OF ENVIRONMENT OF ITS TERRITORIES

This article covers the actions of government officials operating on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2000-2021, aimed at the environment protection and rational use of natural resources of their state. Data on financing of environmentally important aspects for Russian territories are given for certain years. Correlations of financing indicators associated with various circumstances in the global and domestic arenas are considered. The relationship between global or large-scale changes and the degree of increase or decrease in the financial support for environmental protection issues by the government of the Russian Federation is shown. The conclusion is made about the degree of understanding and desire of the Russian leadership to solve the problems of environmental pollution and participate in their solution.
