DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF THE IMAGE OF THE MIGRANTS: ON THE EXAMPLE OF PRC AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

This article explores the distinctive features of the image of a migrant in the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Russian Federation. The author analyzes how politics, culture and history shape the perception of migrants in these countries. This topic is extremely relevant in the modern world, as migration, due to the development of new technologies and other factors, continues to grow around the world. The author analyzes in detail the factors that influence the image of migrants, such as media coverage, public policy and public attitudes towards foreigners. The purpose of the article is to identify the distinctive features of migrants as a social group. The article argues that, despite significant differences between the PRC and the Russian Federation, the image of migrants in both countries has some common characteristics, including the desire to change their lifestyle and the willingness to take risks.
