In the long-term development of the Russian organic market, priority should be given to domestic consumption. This is determined by safe food and healthy diet requirements. Despite this, the export of organic products also has to be supported and developed in order to strengthen Russia's position in the international merchandise market through high value added products, as well as expand foreign economic contacts. The future of the Russian organic exports and imports in the world market are examined. It was testified that in current continuation of sanctions pressure the organic export vector should be redirected towards the developing economies. The opportunities and constraints in organic trade with close abroad, and Asian, African, Latin American countries as well are contemplated. It is emphasized that the development of exports and imports should be based on mutual recognition of the equivalency for organic production. The potential of international organizations, in particular the EAEU, BRICS and SCO should also be taken into account. The final part of the article addresses to assessing the in logistics infrastructure in Russia and abroad, without which it is impossible to ensure the sustainable development of foreign trade and the domestic organic market.
