DEVELOPMENT OF PROSECUTORIAL SUPERVISION OVER THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LAWS IN THE ECONOMIC SPHERE IN CONNECTION WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE DIGITAL RUBLE

The article discusses the main directions of development of the digital ruble, including the prosecutor's office in the conditions of its implementation. The trends in the development of digital currencies of central banks of foreign countries are analyzed. The problem of confidentiality and pseudonymization of personal data is highlighted. The main characteristics of the digital currency issued by central banks and their difference from cryptocurrencies are given. The positive experience of introducing digital currencies in foreign countries will be emphasized. The attention is focused on the role of the Prosecutor's Office in the field of supervision of the execution of laws in the sphere of the economy and increasing the counteraction to the laundering of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism in connection with the introduction of the digital ruble into the economy of the Russian Federation. The conclusion is made about the possibility of Russia to adopt positive experience in this area of foreign countries.
