DRIVERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY: GLOBAL TRENDS

The textile industry market in Russia is considered, the key financial metricsb of companies operating in the Russian textile industry as of 2022 are analyzed. Medians are calculated, the maximum and minimum values of the performance indicators of companies included in the initial sample are determined. Market leaders and outsiders were identified in order to conduct regression analysis, establish cause-and-effect relationships and identify growth drivers for textile companies. The global trends in the development of light industry in the leading countries producing textile products are considered. The prospects for digitalization of textile production are assessed.
