In a situation of increased geopolitical uncertainty, reduced funding and the need to find reserve finance for the development of capital investments, it is necessary to search for alternative and more carefully calibrated investment solutions. It is pointed out that self-financing is one of the main domestic sources of capital for industrial enterprises, especially in countries where enterprises cannot always fully rely on capital markets to obtain the funds they need. It is pointed out that in addition to financing from net income, under certain circumstances, it is also possible to finance the expansion of the enterprise through depreciation. During the period of falling prices, the replacement value of tangible assets is lower than their original cost. It can also finance the development of enterprises through the government, various projects and programs to support the development of regions, small and medium-sized enterprises, and industries.
