PREVENTION OF ECONOMIC CRIMES BY INTERNAL AFFAIRS BODIES AT THE PRESENT STAGE: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Crime is a negative factor affecting the economic stability and security of the State. Its development entails financial and image losses of the state, as well as instability and tension in society, which together does not allow to realize the goals and objectives of the strategic development of the country. One of the most negative types of crime is economic, which includes corruption crimes, crimes related to the shadow economy, fraudulent actions with finances, taxes and other actions that entail material losses for the state and economic entities. In order to reduce the negative impact of economic crimes on the economy of the country as a whole, it is necessary to implement actions that contribute to the prevention of this crime, which is conducted by the internal affairs bodies (ATS). The article considers the activities of the Department of Internal Affairs at the present stage related to the prevention of economic crimes, contributing to the reduction of this crime, and improving the stabilization of the economy as a whole. The problems and prospects of preventive maintenance are identified.
