Modeling has long and firmly entered the economy as a system that makes it possible to describe various economic processes. Moreover, modeling has long been the basis of predictive calculations for economists, whose purpose is to describe future periods in the development of a particular socio-economic system. The article considers a variant of factor modeling to predict the sources of formation of financial resources of an enterprise operating in the food industry.
