Our research examines the interactions and relationships observed between modern global digital platforms (GDPs) and international trade in goods and services. The analysis showed that changes in business models of international trade based on digital transformation contributed to the reformatting of world markets, the creation of a fundamentally new environment for regulating foreign trade and the explosive growth of capitalization of a number of players in the global digital market. In addition, we concluded that the continued international expansion of GPCs is complex and uncertain from the point of view of analyzing the consequences of the regulatory impact on GPCs from national governments. The diversity and complexity of the issues under consideration gives rise to new research problems, in particular those related to the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, the modernization of existing state-owned programs, as well as the further development of digital international trade.
