RATIONALIZATION OF IT-COSTS IN A CRISIS TIME

During the crisis, all companies need to rationalise their activities in order to stay competitive and achieve the set efficiency indicators. Finding effective ways to rationalise IT-costs is an actual task for modern companies, because IT-costs can make up a significant part of the company's budget, and reducing these costs can significantly impact on financial performance. The main purpose of this article is to analyze trends in the dynamics of IT costs and tools for their rationalization. The crisis of 2020 caused by the COVID-19 pandemic was taken as an example. The recommendations can be used in other crisis situations.
