the article examines the territorial balances of production and consumption of raw materials, gives a forecast of the development and placement of wood processing industries of the timber industry, the balances indicate data on the volume of production of logging products, export and import of timber in a round form, the volume of interregional transportation, presents the use of wood in the timber industry in the context of the production of the main types of products of mechanical processing and deep chemical-mechanical.
