The article discusses the current trend of technology introduction in the industrial sector of Russia. It was revealed that the introduction of innovative technologies is associated with a number of barriers that slow down the process of implementation and operation of innovations. It was banking aggregators and various services for servicing banks and financial transactions that formed the basis of financial technologies. Moreover, the banks themselves have been focusing on digitalization and related areas since the beginning of their existence. The study examines the best practices and methods that stimulate overcoming the problems of technology introduction and ensure the sustainable development of technological progress in the industrial sector in Russia.
