RECREATIONAL POTENTIAL OF THE KAMCHATKA TERRITORY AS AN INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS FACTOR OF THE REGION

Some results of the author's research are presented in the article. This study is about the recreational potential of the Kamchatka Territory and the prospects for the economic growth of the region, due to this. Such prospects can be successfully realized only if the condition is met – this is a purposeful formation of the investment attractiveness of the region and its individual territories. Possible and actual directions of investments in the development of the region's economy are mainly the tourism, hospitality and sanatorium-and-spa services industries. Large investment projects in the region are impossible without public-private partnerships, federal and regional subsidies and grants for these purposes. In particular, the author came to the conclusion that the state should compensate for the cost of flights for vacationers from other regions of Russia to Kamchatka. This will cause sustainable economic effects of acceleration and multiplication. The high demand for recreational services will lead to the creation of jobs in related industries and the accelerated development of the regional economic system.
