ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF AGRICULTURAL CLUSTER ACTIVITIES ON REGIONAL SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROCESSES

The formation of a cluster operating in the agricultural sector of the economy takes place on the basis of a certain region, according to one or another signs suitable for this complex of enterprises. This has a direct impact on the standard of living of the population and other social indicators in the region where the cluster is present. Therefore, both at the planning stage of an agricultural cluster and in the process of its activity, it is necessary to assess its impact on regional socio-economic processes. The article considers the essence of the cluster as a new organizational form, its goals and stages of formation. The directions and indicators for assessing the social factors of the impact of the activity of the agricultural cluster in the region of presence are presented. The methods of evaluation of these indicators for assessing the effectiveness of the cluster in the region of presence in the social sphere are proposed. The author comes to the conclusion that such influence is carried out in the following directions: job creation, income growth, education and development, improvement of the quality of life, improvement of technology and innovation, improvement of the environmental situation, development of the local community. To assess the impact of cluster activities on the social sphere of the region, methods and tools were proposed: the study of employment and income levels, analysis of access to education and training, research of social infrastructure, surveys and interviews with residents, measurement of social capital, case studies or success stories about how the cluster affected the life of a particular person or group people, the study of social indicators.
