Manzanga Ovid Kpanya  (graduate student of the Faculty of Law Kazan Federal University )

The article deals with the protection of victims from delays in international criminal justice. It is noted that the protection of victims of mass crimes is currently one of the goals of international criminal justice. It was revealed that for some time the victims had almost all the rights necessary to protect their interests and receive compensation for damage. It is noted that this development of events is positive, since the victims suffer, first of all, from the cruelty of crimes. It is revealed that this rule has a number of shortcomings: on the one hand, we are talking about an exception to which victims are subject to a reasonable time in international criminal proceedings, and, on the other hand, about the flexibility of the right to prompt compensation for damages. The study showed that, in all cases, victims of international crimes are effectively not protected from international criminal justice delays, with the main consequence of prolonging their enormous suffering.
