FEATURES OF THE INFLUENCE OF WRONGFUL CONTROL ON PRODUCTIVITY, INVOLVEMENT IN WORK AND STAFF TURNOVER

High-performing employees are a major source of competitive advantage for organizations. They maintain higher work-related self-esteem (WSSW), which influences how they respond to undue control. Theoretically explains how productivity (via WSSW) increases the repulsive nature of undue control, which in turn influences work engagement and subsequent decisions to leave work. As work progresses (and as opposed to self-esteem), undue control indirectly reduces job attachment and increases employee turnover.
