This article is devoted to the research and analysis of the usage of Lean tools and the theoretical development of Lean tools in the context of «Industry 4.0». With the development of «Industry 4.0», some of the challenges related to inefficient digitalization are becoming increasingly apparent in organisations. In order to minimize these problems, the Lean philosophy needs to be embedded in a digital environment. At the same time, before lean manufacturing begins to tackle the challenges of digitalization, its tools also need to be digitized so that they can embrace the dynamics of «Industry 4.0» and become more efficient.
