ON THE ESSENCE OF THE PRINCIPLES OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

The article is devoted to the study of the essence of the principles of criminal proceedings. The author focuses on the problem of the necessity of normative establishment of the principles of criminal procedure. The conclusion is that the existence of principles does not depend on their fixation in the law. The result of the conducted research is the statement that the principle of criminal procedure can be considered as one of the sources of criminal procedural law.
