Preserving the natural resource potential of the country and achieving comprehensive sustainable development, as well as ensuring national security largely depend on environmentally effective nature management. This approach emphasizes the rational and efficient use and protection of natural resources. In the context of ecology, the article presents a classification of types of corruption depending on specific objects of influence. The mechanisms of overcoming corruption in the sphere of environmental protection activities are considered, namely, increasing legal liability for corruption offenses and improving the legal framework.
