The relevance of the use of PR technologies for the selected government body primarily lies in the fact that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kursk Region in the eyes of the public is a reflection of not only an individual institution, but also the entire educational sphere of the region, dealing with preschool, school, additional and university education and education. The article is devoted to the study of PR technologies as a means of increasing the efficiency of the media center as a division of the public relations service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kursk Region, which are of great importance in the activities of the department. Recommendations are provided for improving the efficiency of the media center and increasing the effectiveness of the use of PR technologies.
