The article considers the motivation system in the Eastern model of personnel management, which has a number of advantages and disadvantages that affect the level of efficiency of management of employees of the company. The conducted research made it possible to identify and systematize the advantages of the motivation system in the Eastern model of personnel management, which included: strengthening team spirit, high loyalty to the company, respect for hierarchy and stability, long-term planning and staff development, reduction of conflict, strong corporate culture, effective reputational motivation. The identified advantages of the Eastern type of work motivation can significantly improve the work of the organization and increase the level of motivation and employee satisfaction. At the same time, the shortcomings of the motivation system in the Eastern model of personnel management were identified, which included: insufficient individualization, stress and burnout, resistance to change, dependence on hierarchy, difficulties in adapting to the global context, limited opportunities for creativity, problems with equality and diversity. It is important to note that these disadvantages are not universal and may manifest themselves in different ways depending on a particular country, organization and its corporate culture.
