THE ROLE OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION IN THE ECONOMY OF KHABAROVSK KRAI

The relevance of this paper is due to the fact that the scientific economic community pays insufficient attention to the study of industrial production development at the regional level. Purpose of the work: to analyse the role of industrial production in the economy of Khabarovsk Krai. The material basis of the study was formed by the data of the Federal State Statistics Service for the period 2018-2022, opinions of various scientists. The article analyses the balanced financial result of the Khabarovsk Krai enterprises for the period 2018-2022; the possible reasons for the negative balanced financial result of the organizations that provide the population of the Khabarovsk Krai with electricity and gas are analysed; proposals are made to reduce losses in electricity transportation. The scientific novelty of the study consists in: collecting and systematising relevant statistical data and economic indicators relating to Khabarovsk Krai for the period 2018-2022; conducting a comparative analysis of these data, which allowed to identify trends and problems in industrial production in the region and included an analysis of the financial results of enterprises, an assessment of the causes of negative balanced financial result of organisations and proposals to reduce losses in electricity transportation. The obtained results can be useful for teachers of economics and managers working in this area.
