In the Russian economy, as in world practice, staff motivation occupies a key place in the human resource management system. The effectiveness of employees, their loyalty to the company, and their desire for professional growth and development directly depend on how competently and reasonably the motivation system is built. At the same time, the specifics of the use of motivation methods in various sectors of the Russian economy are determined by the specifics of the activity, corporate culture and strategic objectives of each enterprise. The effectiveness of the motivation system is determined by its ability to take into account the specifics of the industry and the specifics of work, since there is no universal motivation system suitable for any enterprise. The article examines the features of the application of staff motivation methods in various sectors of the Russian economy (industry, agriculture, trade and service, IT, education and healthcare), identifies motivation methods used in a particular industry. Among them: flexible working hours, recognition and awards, social guarantees, teamwork and others. The author concludes that taking into account the specifics of staff motivation, according to the industry, is one of the most important factors in ensuring the effectiveness of motivation programs.
