The article substantiates that in the current period it is impossible to systematize an exhaustive list of legal features of electronic trading platforms due to the variety of tasks they perform and due to the lack of a clear list of international law norms regarding online marketplaces. At the level of international law, the author has identified two groups of basic legal features of marketplaces: legal features of general (regional) nature, which are reflected in documents of international organizations with priority tasks of regional development, and legal features of sectoral nature, indicated in documents of international organizations with priority sectoral tasks. Among the legal features of marketplaces of general (regional) nature, the conventional features of marketplaces are highlighted, including systemic, technological, temporal, identification, commercial, formal, sequential features. In the group of legal features of marketplaces of sectoral nature, features of the customs sphere and human rights sphere are highlighted.
