THE ROLE OF KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS IN THE MODERN LABOR MARKET

Key performance indicators play an important role in business management because they provide a clear assessment of the performance of the company, its divisions or individual employees. Key performance indicators help organizations set realistic goals and targets within their strategy, and determine how effectively an organization achieves its strategic and operational goals. They also help to adapt the strategy in response to changing market conditions. The article examines the essence and role of key performance indicators for companies, the principles of their choice to improve the efficiency of the company. Using the example of Russian enterprises, the use of key performance indicators in various sectors of the economy is shown. The problems of using key performance indicators at Russian enterprises are considered, and promising directions for using key performance indicators in the context of digitalization of production processes are proposed. These areas included: improving data collection, the ability to integrate various enterprise information systems, automating data analysis and predicting results based on key performance indicators, increasing transparency and accessibility of information about staff performance, the ability to make decisions in real time, and the ability to personalize key performance indicators.
