THE ROLE OF BANKS IN THE FORMATION OF MINIMUM SAVINGS OF THE POPULATION

The need to create minimum savings for citizens, provided for by the Financial Market Development Strategy until 2030 as an important tool for the formation of long-term resources, is confirmed by a number of factors characteristic of the current economic situation. The formation of minimum savings among low-income segments of the population can be facilitated by the introduction of social deposits with special conditions and adjustments to the deposit policies of commercial banks aimed at supporting depositors with small savings.
